I know what it feels like to carry more than most people realise. For many years, I believed that the answer was simply to keep going. To push through, stay strong, and hope that life would eventually feel easier.
It wasn’t until I began learning about mindfulness and the neuroscience of stress that I realised something profound. Stress isn’t simply something we endure. It’s something we can learn to understand. That understanding changed the way I experienced life’s challenges. It didn’t remove the difficult seasons, but it gave me practical tools to meet them with greater awareness, compassion and resilience.
That’s why I created 5 Days to a Calmer Mind. My hope is that these five days will help you understand yourself a little more deeply, discover simple practices you can begin using immediately, and remind you that there is another way to move through life’s challenges.
I’m so grateful you’ve chosen to begin this journey with me.
With warmth, Dora-lee
